Blessed with a gift
for guiding the imaginations of others, Dr Parnassus is cursed with a dark secret. Centuries ago, he made a bet with the devil, Mr. Nick, in which
he won immortality. Later, after meeting his true love,
he re-negotiates his deal with the devil, trading his immortality for
youth, in exchange promising that any of his future children would
become Mr. Nick's property upon their 16th birthday.
As his daughter approaches the age of 16, Mr. Nick is eager to collect,
& Parnassus is desperate to save her from her impending fate.
Making yet another wager with Mr. Nick, the winner of Valentina's soul
will be determined by whomever seduces the first five souls. In a
last ditch effort to beat the devil at his own game, Dr. Parnassus
promises his daughter's hand in marriage to the man who helps him win
the bet.

the bush, he forms a loyal
Gang that includes his best
friend and first lieutenant
Joe Byrne. They blaze a
trail through the Outback,
robbing banks to fund
themselves as well as to
recover immigrants' land
deeds, and giving police the
runaround. To the masses,
Ned is a hero. To lawmen and
the establishment, he is the
most wanted man in
Australia. When the
authorities bring in the
formidable Superintendent
Francis Hare, and an army of
police, Ned strategizes a
risky showdown at the
Glenrowan Inn. It is this
event which will seal his

Francisco Pizarro, the Spanish explorer, is persuaded that
there is a land of gold somewhere in Peru. King Carlos of Spain
doesn't give him any more money for his next expedition but
gives Pizarro two priests in charge of evangelizing the new
territories. A few months later, Pizarro sails to South America
with a little army.
After a long journey through deserts and mountains, Pizarro is
finally given the opportunity to meet the Inca Atahualpa, the
Son of the Sun. Atahualpa's army is soon slaughtered by the
Spanish mercenaries and the Inca himself is made prisoner.
Pizarro promises him liberty if he can fill a room with gold up
to the ceiling. While people, from all parts of Peru, are
bringing the precious metal, Pizarro and Atahualpa learn to
respect each other.
